Dengeki Daisy is a popular romantic comedy series written and illustrated by Kyousuke Motomi, serialized in Shogakukan's Betsucomi magazine from 2007 to 2013. With a total of 16 volumes, it has gained a cult following both in Japan and internationally. We know that Motomi later made a name for himself with series such as QQ Sweeper and Queen's Quality. In this context, the anime adaptation of Dengeki Daisy means bringing one of the author's early works to television.
Although the studio and release date have not yet been finalized, the cast announcement shows that the project is progressing with concrete steps. In the coming months, new trailers, additional voice actors, and production details are expected to be shared. Especially considering that the romantic genre has been on the rise again in the anime world in recent years, Dengeki Daisy has great potential to become a wonderful adaptation in the right hands. Fans are now eagerly awaiting the next announcement from the studio and publisher.
