Dengeki Daisy Anime Releases Teasers Introducing Main Cast

Dengeki Daisy anime has officially announced its main voice cast with the highly anticipated first teaser trailer. Adapted from Kyousuke Motomi's manga of the same name, the production combines romantic comedy and drama genres.
In the trailer, the voice actors for the main characters Teru Kurebayashi and Tasuku Kurosaki were heard for the first time. Saori Hayami will voice Teru, and Kaito Ishikawa will voice Tasuku. This duo is known for their dynamics in the original manga; it tells the story of a young girl who, after her older brother's death, struggles to survive by corresponding with a mysterious hacker known as “Dengeki Daisy.”
Dengeki Daisy manga was serialized in Betsucomi magazine from 2007 to 2013 and completed in 16 volumes. Kyousuke Motomi's previous works include Beast Master and QQ Sweeper. The anime adaptation was announced last year, but details had been kept secret until now. This teaser shows how far production has progressed and the character voice recording process.
Although the release date has not yet been finalized, with the teaser arriving, a release is expected within 2025. It is stated that the series will maintain its romantic and emotional tone, while the action scenes will be presented with more modern animation. Particularly, Teru's intelligence and Daisy's mystery could reach a new audience with the anime.
This news is important for manga fans because Dengeki Daisy is one of the most beloved examples of the shoujo genre. Fans who have long wanted an anime adaptation are finally seeing concrete steps. In the coming months, we can expect a new trailer and perhaps a definite release date. It will be exciting to see how well the adaptation reflects the spirit of the story.
