Digimon Beatbreak Continues with the "GIFT" Arc: New Visual and Release Date Revealed!

The world of digital monsters is becoming darker and more immersive than ever! Toei Animation's beloved series Digimon Beatbreak is preparing to keep viewers glued to their screens with its brand-new story arc, "GIFT", starting on April 26, 2026. In the main visual shared for this new era, which will kick off with the 28th episode of the series, a mysterious young girl character looking at a Sapotama device in her hand draws attention. The most striking detail of the visual is the reflection of the series' protagonist, Tomoro Tenma, and his partner, Gekkomon, inside the device the girl is looking at.
Set in the cyberpunk atmosphere of the year 2050, Digimon Beatbreak focuses on a future where "e-Pulse" energy, derived from human emotions, rules the world. While Digimon that consume this energy put humans into a vegetative state called "Cold Heart," our hero Tomoro and the Glowing Dawn team fight against this crisis. The upcoming "GIFT" arc is expected to contain the most mysterious and emotional episodes of the series to date. It is predicted that the new character in the visual will play a key role regarding the origin of Digimon and the true nature of e-Pulse energy.
Looking at the creative team behind the series, we see very experienced names. Hiroaki Miyamoto, known for One Piece Film: Gold, sits in the director's chair, while Ryota Yamaguchi, whom we remember from Digimon Data Squad, heads the screenwriting team. The music is entrusted to Arisa Okehazama, the award-winning composer of Jujutsu Kaisen. The franchise, which entered our lives as a virtual pet in 1997 and turned into a phenomenon with the legendary Digimon Adventure in 1999, has reached its 11th main anime series with Digimon Beatbreak. This new series has managed to capture older generation fans, especially with its more mature themes and cyberpunk aesthetic.
For fans, April 26 could be a major turning point that changes the course of the series. Before the "GIFT" arc begins, there will be a short break in the story with the 25th episode, titled "Half-Baked Hero," which will air on April 5, and then the great veil of mystery will be lifted. If you are also following this modern and dark interpretation of the digital world, you can start the countdown to learn the identity of the new character and the fate of Tomoro. Let's see if this "gift" will bring salvation or a new disaster for the digital world?
