Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero's 'Super Limit Breaking NEO' DLC Launches on July 30

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero fans have exciting news! Bandai Namco has officially announced that the new expansion pack "Super Limit Breaking NEO" DLC will launch on July 30. The released trailer introduces a brand new game mode focusing on the original Dragon Ball series, along with many classic characters.
The most notable innovation of the DLC is the new mode called Limit Breaker Journey. This mode takes players back to the beginning of the original Dragon Ball story, aiming to relive the first adventures of young Goku. It is also stated that classic characters such as Kid Goku, Young Master Roshi, General Blue, and Pilaf will be added as playable. The base version of the game was released in October 2024 and developed by Spike Chunsoft. Now, this nostalgia-filled pack gives the series a new breath.
This DLC focused on the original Dragon Ball has been quite a surprise for fans who have long missed the early days of the series. After all, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero had previously focused more on the Dragon Ball Z and Super eras. This move also serves as a tribute to the late creator Akira Toriyama's work. Following Toriyama's passing in 2024, fans will greatly enjoy returning to the world he first drew.
The DLC's release date of July 30 promises a fresh flow of content for players in mid-summer. The pricing of the Super Limit Breaking NEO pack and the full list of additional characters have not yet been announced, but Bandai Namco is expected to share more details in the coming days. If you also want to see old friends again and embark on Kid Goku's first journey, mark your calendars!
