New Voice in Eren the Southpaw Anime: Natsumi Fujiwara Joins the Cast

Exciting news has arrived from the Eren the Southpaw (Hidari kiki no Eren) anime, which brings the competitive atmosphere of the advertising and art world to the screen. With the series' highly anticipated sixth episode, it has been officially announced that successful voice actor Natsumi Fujiwara has joined the cast. Fujiwara will voice the manager of one of the series' key characters, Akari Kishi, and the character's first appearance will take place in the episode airing on Tuesday, May 12th.
Natsumi Fujiwara is a highly talented name in the anime world, known especially for her roles as Damian Desmond in Spy x Family and young Thorfinn in Vinland Saga. Fans are already curious about what kind of dynamism the artist, who adds depth to characters with her unique vocal tone, will bring to the serious atmosphere of Eren the Southpaw, which depicts the professional business world. The manager character that Fujiwara will portray seems set to increase the tension in the professional side of the story.
Eren the Southpaw, with its original story written by Kappy and illustrations by nifuni, is based on a popular manga series that began serialization on the Shonen Jump+ platform in 2017. The story centers on the conflict between Eren Yamagishi, a genius painter, and Koichi Asakura, a designer who remains in his shadow but tries to hold his own in the advertising world through sheer ambition. The series has reached a large following by questioning the brutal realities of the creative industries and the question of "talent versus hard work," and it was previously the subject of a successful live-action adaptation.
