Exciting Developments for Dan Da Dan Fans: Exhibition and Third Season in 2027!

The anime adaptation of the popular manga series Dan Da Dan, written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu, continues to excite its fans. While the third season of the series has been announced to air in 2027, a special animation exhibition has opened its doors in Tokyo to sweeten this anticipation.
The "Dan Da Dan Animation Works Exhibition", held at Matsuya Ginza from April 22 to May 11, 2026, offers an in-depth look into the series' animation process. This first anime exhibition showcases how production studio Science Saru brought the manga to life, featuring production materials and behind-the-scenes details from seasons 1 and 2. Fans will have the opportunity to discover the secrets behind the series' unique visual style and high-impact animations.
The Dan Da Dan anime series first met its audience with its first season between October 4 and December 20, 2024. Subsequently, the second season aired between July 4 and September 19, 2025, and was again highly acclaimed. Both seasons were produced by Science Saru studio, led by director Fūga Yamashiro and screenwriter Hiroshi Seko. The first two seasons of the series were broadcast worldwide on platforms such as Crunchyroll and Netflix.
Dan Da Dan, a web manga series written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu, has been published on Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ app and website since April 2021. Blending supernatural, action, romantic comedy, and science fiction elements, the series follows high school student Momo Ayase, who believes in ghosts but not aliens, and Ken Takakura (Okarun), who believes in aliens but not ghosts.
