New Trailer and Release Date Shared for Farming Life in Another World Season 2: The Farming Adventure Returns in April!

The most peaceful corner of the isekai world, Great Tree Village, is opening its doors once again! The news for the 2nd season, which fans of Farming Life in Another World (Isekai Nonbiri Nouka) have been waiting for a long time, has finally been confirmed. With the new trailer and key visual shared at the AnimeJapan event, it has become official that the series will begin airing on April 6, 2026. This calm yet equally entertaining world, where Hiraku Machio creates miracles with his divine farming tools, will become much more crowded and colorful in the new season.
In the new season, stability is maintained in the technical staff and studio. As in the first season, the anime is being produced by Studio Zero-G, with Ryoichi Kuraya sitting in the director's chair. Huge names have joined the voice cast; artists such as Hikaru Midorikawa (The Demon God), Rikuya Yasuda (Jack), and Eri Yukimura (Morte) will bring a new breath to the story. Additionally, the beloved opening and ending artists of the first season are returning. While the opening theme 'It’s a beautiful story' will again be performed by Luu and Tier, we will listen to Yui Hizuki’s song 'Sunny Steps' for the ending.
The series, which was started as a web novel in 2016 by Kinosuke Naito, reached millions of readers in a short time and became a giant name. Selling over 5.7 million copies worldwide as of 2025, the series is considered one of the most successful representatives of the 'slow life' isekai genre. The anime, whose first season aired in 2023, is about Hiraku building a civilization from scratch with an 'All-Purpose Farming Tool' given by gods after his difficult life in the modern world. This season, we will witness the village transforming not just into a farming area, but into a massive settlement where different races live together.
So, what awaits us in the new season? As we understand from the trailer, Hiraku’s family and the villagers continue to expand. While new fantastic races are added alongside vampires, elves, and angels, the balance between the administrative challenges of the village and Hiraku’s dream of an 'ideal rural life' will be at the forefront. If you are tired of action-packed, high-tempo anime and want to relax a bit, this new season starting on April 6 is just for you. Harvest time is approaching in Great Tree Village!
