Fool Night Anime's Netflix Release Date and New Cast Announced
The Fool Night anime has received a November 26, 2026 date for its worldwide Netflix release. The new promotional video also officially confirmed that Junya Enoki, Aya Endō, and Kiyomitsu Mizuuchi have joined the cast.
Kasumi Yasuda's manga has been published in Shogakukan's Big Comic Superior magazine since 2020. The story depicts a dystopian future where sunlight has disappeared from the earth and people try to survive by transforming into plants. Yasuda's dark and atmospheric artwork has made the series stand out among contemporary seinen manga. Viz Media publishes the manga in English.
The Netflix distribution will take the series beyond the manga shelves. The anime will premiere simultaneously worldwide on November 26, allowing both current readers and those hearing about the story for the first time to experience it at the same time.
