HoYoverse's popular open-world RPG Genshin Impact is entering a new collaboration with anime platform Crunchyroll. According to Anime Corner, this partnership is tied to the game's highly anticipated Version 7.0 update and the Snezhnaya region. Players will be able to obtain exclusive in-game rewards as part of this version.

Snezhnaya is the snow-covered country at the northernmost point of Teyvat and serves as the center of the Fatui organization. The region is ruled by the Cryo Archon Tsaritsa, and secrets about the hero's lost sibling will be sought here in the main story. Therefore, tying the Crunchyroll collaboration to Snezhnaya coincides with one of the most critical turning points in the Genshin Impact universe.

The connection between Crunchyroll and HoYoverse is not new. The anime adaptation of Genshin Impact, announced in 2022, is being developed with animation by Ufotable; Crunchyroll, as one of the world's largest anime distribution platforms, is an important part of this ecosystem. This new collaboration aims to bring together gaming and anime communities in a single campaign.
