Big news for One Piece fans: A brand new game called ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet has been announced! This time, it's not about adventure but your culinary and management skills. In the game, you will build and operate Baratie – the famous floating restaurant – from scratch, one of the most beloved locations in the series. And all in the world of Luffy and his crew!
Although an official release date has not been announced yet, it has been stated that the game will be released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). The development team is working in partnership with Bandai Namco Entertainment and ILCA (the creators of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl). So a high-quality production is behind it. In the game, you will not only cook meals, but also design menus, manage staff, expand your ship, and of course gather ingredients from all over the Grand Line.
This is actually a new genre for the One Piece series. Previously, we have seen action-oriented games like One Piece: Pirate Warriors (musou) and One Piece: Odyssey (RPG).
