Good Smile Company Announces New Mecha Anime 'Jyuō Mujin Dandivine'

Popular figure manufacturer Good Smile Company is accelerating its steps in anime production. The company announced a mecha anime titled Jyuō Mujin Dandivine as part of its new project 'The God of Combined Series'. The project, introduced at Anime Japan, aims to bring a modern interpretation to the traditional mecha genre, focusing particularly on the theme of combination.
According to the official announcement, the premiere of Jyuō Mujin Dandivine is planned for October 2026. Along with the announcement, a teaser visual was released, but no clear information has been shared yet about the series' director and production team. However, Good Smile Company has previous production experience with shows like Pui Pui Molcar and POP TEAM EPIC, which is promising for the quality of the new project.
'The God of Combined Series', as the name suggests, focuses on a classic subgenre where multiple robots combine to form a giant mecha. Iconic examples of this genre include Voltes V, Getter Robo, and GaoGaiGar. Good Smile Company is thought to aim to appeal to both nostalgic fans and new-generation viewers with this project.
The company also plans to launch figure and model kit series along with this anime. Thanks to Good Smile Company's greatest strength—high-quality production infrastructure—the mecha designs of Jyuō Mujin Dandivine are expected to become collectible items in the future. In the coming months, details such as new trailers, voice cast, and streaming platform are expected to be announced. Autumn 2026 looks exciting for mecha fans already!
