Grand Blue Dreaming Season 3 Release Date and Ending Song Announced
Exciting news for Grand Blue Dreaming fans: The official release date for season 3 has been announced. With a new promotional video released, it was announced that the series will premiere on July 6, 2026. Additionally, it was stated that the season's ending song is "Hadaka no Mermaid" and that this song is performed by the girl group Mameshiba no Taigun.
Written by Kenji Inoue and illustrated by Kimitake Yoshioka, the Grand Blue Dreaming manga has been published in Good! Afternoon magazine since 2014. The first season of the anime adaptation aired in summer 2018, and the second season met viewers in 2022. The series follows the funny and absurd adventures of university student Iori Kitahara after he joins a diving club. Particularly known for its alcohol and crazy friendship scenes, the production has gained a large fanbase both as a manga and an anime.
The new season is expected to continue the story from where it left off. Grand Blue Dreaming season 3 will air during the summer, just like the previous seasons. The trailer shows glimpses of sea, diving, and party scenes, as well as hints of new characters. Although the opening song has not been announced yet, the energetic style of Mameshiba no Taigun, chosen for the ending song, seems very fitting for the series' cheerful atmosphere. The group has previously contributed songs to productions such as K-On! and Love Live!, making them a well-known name in the anime world.
It is not yet clear how many episodes the third season, which will debut with its first episode on July 6, 2026, will have. However, previous seasons aired with 12 episodes each. Additionally, the series is expected to be simulcast on licensed streaming platforms abroad. Grand Blue Dreaming is sure to be a must-watch this summer for those who love comedy and friendship themes. New opening song and additional cast information are expected in the coming days.
