Grand Blue 3rd Season Will Be Full of Sea Scenes

Grand Blue fans have great news: The third season of the series was introduced at a special preview event held at Shinjuku Balto 9 cinema in Tokyo on June 19. During the event, the main voice actors took the stage, and exciting details about the series were shared.
Attending the preview, Uchida Yuma, who voices Kitahara Iori, Kimura Ryohei, who plays Imamura Kohei, Asemi Tomoka, who plays Kotegawa Chisa, and Asumi Kana, who voices Yoshihara Aina, shared their impressions of the new season. Asemi Tomoka said, 'This season contains the most sea scenes so far. The diving and underwater visuals are truly breathtaking.'
Grand Blue is based on a popular diving comedy manga written by Inoue Kenji and illustrated by Yoshioka Masayoshi. The first season aired in summer 2018, and the second season came out in 2021. The announcement of the third season was made last year, and fans have been eagerly awaiting it. Along with the absurd humor that is one of the series' biggest traits, the emphasis on diving culture seems likely to come even more to the forefront this new season.
The preview also gave hints about the season's visual quality. It was stated that the team developed special animation techniques for underwater scenes, making the characters' movements beneath the sea more realistic. Uchida Yuma excited viewers by saying, 'As with every season, you'll be in stitches laughing. But this time, you'll be captivated by the magic of the sea.'
Although the release date for Grand Blue Season 3 has not yet been confirmed, it is expected that the premiere date will be announced soon after the preview. As with previous seasons, the new episodes are likely planned for release in the summer. For those who love both diving and comedy, this season is poised to be the series' most ambitious production yet.
