First Trailer for Heroine? Saint? No, I’m an All-Works Maid (And Proud of It)! Anime Released: Release Date Announced!

As isekai and otome game themes continue to maintain their popularity in the anime world, the long-awaited news for Heroine? Saint? No, I’m an All-Works Maid (And Proud of It)! (Heroine? Seijo? Iie, All-Works Maid desu (Hokori)!), which will bring a fresh breath to these genres, has arrived. With the first trailer shared during the AnimeJapan 2026 event, it has been made official that the series will begin airing in July 2026. Produced by EMT Squared studio, the production invites viewers to an unconventional hero's journey.
Our story begins when Ritsuko Mizunami, a child prodigy in her previous life, loses her life in a plane crash and is reincarnated into the world of an otome game called Five Oaths of the Saint. However, there is a problem: although Ritsuko is born as Melody, the game's original protagonist and the 'Saint' destined to save the world, she has only one dream; to be a perfect maid. Using her powerful magical abilities to perfect housework, cooking, and cleaning instead of saving the world, Melody completely derails the game's plot.
The anime's voice cast also features quite ambitious names. While Yume Miyamoto brings our lead character Melody Wave to life, she is accompanied by Rumi Okubo (Luciana Rudleberg) and Kōhei Amasaki (Christopher Von Théolas). Additionally, along with the trailer, it was announced that master voice actress Yoko Hikasa has joined the cast as the character Anne Marie Victirium. Naoya Murakawa sits in the director's chair for the series, while Shinji Ishihira oversees the project as chief director.
Looking at the history of the series, we see that it started as a web novel by Atekichi in 2017. Later adapted into a light novel format with illustrations by Yukiko and adapted into a manga by Keiko, the series has gained fan appreciation, especially for the main character's "work comes first" attitude. Watching a hero who prefers to repair a dilapidated mansion with her magic instead of fighting romantic heartthrobs or demon kings promises a very entertaining experience for fans of the genre.
Set to begin in July 2026, this production is a candidate to be one of the notable works of the summer season with both its comedic elements and its twist-filled plot. If you are tired of classic isekai clichés and are looking for a character who rewrites her destiny with her broom, we recommend you don't miss Melody's adventures. Let's see how much more this stubborn maid, who refuses to be a 'Saint', will stir up the game's world?
