HIDIVE Announces The Forsaken Saintess and Her Foodie Road Trip in Another World Anime: Premiering in Summer 2026!

A massive new addition is joining the "slow-life" and gastronomy-themed isekai genre, one of the most popular trends in the anime world in recent years. The popular streaming platform HIDIVE has officially announced that it has acquired the exclusive streaming rights for the highly anticipated The Forsaken Saintess and Her Foodie Road Trip in Another World (Suterare Seijo no Isekai Gohan Tabi: Kakure Skill de Camping Car o Shōkan Shimashita) anime. The series will take its place on the platform's simulcast list as one of the most ambitious productions of the summer season, starting in July 2026.
The story centers on Rin Takanashi, a caregiver in her 30s. Suddenly summoned to another world as a "Saint," Rin is cruelly exiled by the kingdom's prince after her abilities are labeled as "trash." However, Rin possesses two secret abilities that no one knows about: Survival and Motor House (Camper). Thanks to these abilities, she summons the camper of her dreams (which she affectionately calls "Mochan") and sets off on a peaceful journey to explore this new world and taste the most delicious foods. Meeting interesting friends along the way, Rin's story promises an adventure that satisfies both the stomach and the soul, far from the action-packed isekai clichés.
The production side of the anime features a highly experienced team. EMT Squared (Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear) is in charge of animation, while Atsushi Nigorikawa sits in the director's chair. The series composition is handled by Takashi Aoshima, and character designs are brought to life by Izumi Ishii. The voice cast features Sora Tokui (Rin Takanashi) and Yuki Ono in the lead roles.
