Double Good News for I Left My A-Rank Party Series: Season 2 and a New Video Game Are Coming!

It is a very exciting day for fans of the I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths (A-Rank Party wo Ridatsu shita Ore wa, Moto Oshiego-tachi to Meikyū Fukubu e Iku) series, which has carved out a unique place for itself in the fantasy world. According to the official announcement, work on the 2nd season of the anime adaptation has officially begun. However, the surprises do not end there; it has also been announced that a video game adaptation, which will allow us to get to know the world of the series even better, is in development.
The story of the series revolves around a Red Mage named Yuke, whose talents are unappreciated and who decides to leave his elite party. The original light novel series, written by Unagi Kousuke and illustrated by Super Zombie, first gained great attention on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō platform. Later published under Kodansha and adapted into a manga by Yuu Sasamine, the work managed to make a difference by blending the classic "rise of the scorned hero" theme with elements of mentorship and dungeon exploration.
The first season of the anime was brought to life in January 2025 by the BN Pictures (Bandai Namco Pictures) studio. The fact that the studio, which has produced successful works such as Gintama and Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun, took on this project elevated the visual quality and action scenes of the series. Director Katsumi Ono successfully reflected Yuke's new bonds with his former students and strategic battle scenes on the screen. The fact that the second season confirmation came so quickly is proof of the high viewership rates the series has achieved both in Japan and on global platforms.
Although no technical details or a release date have been shared yet regarding the video game in development, the announcement of the project shows that the series is turning into a multimedia franchise. Fans are already anticipating an action-RPG or strategy game where they can personally control Yuke's versatile magical abilities. These developments, which are expected to make their mark on 2026, guarantee that the I Left My A-Rank Party universe will be talked about much more in the coming period. Details regarding the release date of the new season and the platforms for the game are expected to be clarified in the coming months.
