Jaadugar: A Mongolia Witch Gets New Trailer and Ending Theme from Queen Bee

Jaadugar: A Mongolia Witch continues its journey as one of the most remarkable productions of 2025. The anime, one of the most unique projects in the anime world recently, has already gathered a large fan base with its original story blending Mongolian mythology and modern concepts of magic. The new trailer released recently has further heightened the excitement.
According to anime news site Anime Corner, the trailer featured the first listen of the ending theme "STAR" performed by Japanese rock band Queen Bee. The band's signature energetic and melancholic style perfectly matches the series' atmosphere. Queen Bee is a familiar name to anime fans from their songs for productions such as Tokyo Ghoul:re and Dororo.
Jaadugar: A Mongolia Witch was first announced in 2024. The production has an original script inspired by Mongolia's rich folk tales. The story follows a young witch struggling to discover her powers, who sets out on a journey across the Mongolian steppes to face an ancient threat. In the director's chair is Shinpei Ezaki, who previously directed some episodes of Vinland Saga. The animation studio for the series is Studio A-Cat, a subsidiary of Mappa. The visual quality and fluidity of the fight scenes have garnered much praise along with the trailer.
The trailer also highlights the performance of Misaki Kuno (known for her role as Tome in Mob Psycho 100), the voice actress for the main character Aigerim. The opening theme, as previously announced, will be performed by LiSA. The first episode of the anime will air in Japan on April 10, 2025. It has been reported that deals have been made with Crunchyroll and Netflix for international platforms.
This development comes at a time when interest in Mongolian culture is increasingly growing in popular culture. Jaadugar: A Mongolia Witch has the potential to bring Central Asian mythology to a global audience, beyond being just an anime. More character introductions and trailers are expected in the coming weeks. You can access the full trailer via Anime Corner.
