Jujutsu Kaisen Makes a Splash in Nagoya: Huge Collaboration with JR Central Begins!

We have exciting news for Jujutsu Kaisen fans! The popular anime series is taking its successful partnership with JR Central a step further by announcing the third installment of its Oshi-tabi (Favorite Journey) campaign. This new event, which will take place between May 22 and August 3, 2026, focuses on the city of Nagoya this time. The most striking aspect of the campaign is the special promotional visuals featuring our main character Yuji Itadori and his friends posing in official JR Central uniforms.
This collaboration is not limited to visuals; it turns the train journey into a full anime experience. Passengers using the Tokaido Shinkansen line will be able to participate in interactive quizzes prepared specifically for the series on the train and listen to voice recordings specially recorded for this campaign by the characters' voice actors. In addition, fans who visit the digital stamp rally points to be set up throughout Nagoya will have the chance to access limited-edition souvenirs and giant character panels placed at the stations. This campaign series, whose previous stops were Kyoto and Osaka, plays a major role in revitalizing anime tourism in Japan.
Jujutsu Kaisen, created by Gege Akutami and turned into a global phenomenon, has lost none of its popularity despite the manga ending in the fall of 2024. The anime adaptation prepared by MAPPA studio has reached a massive fan base, especially after the Shibuya Incident arc. While work and expectations for the anime adaptation of the Culling Game arc continue, such real-world events keep fans' loyalty to the series fresh and reinforce the cultural impact of the series.
If you happen to be in Japan this summer, be prepared to encounter a uniformed Satoru Gojo or Megumi Fushiguro at Nagoya station! Such large-scale collaborations are not just a promotional strategy, but also a cultural feast that allows fans to connect with their favorite characters in daily life. During the event, special themed foods inspired by the series are also expected to be offered at certain points in Nagoya, so it would be wise to go hungry!
