Kenshi Yonezu, Tōko Miura and Yōko Kuno Join Look Back Live-Action Film as Special Guest Staff
The highly anticipated live-action film Look Back has added three more notable names to its cast. Renowned musician Kenshi Yonezu, singer Tōko Miura, and animator Yōko Kuno have joined the film as special guest staff. This trio will collaborate on a significant project that expands the film's artistic scope.
According to the official announcement, Kenshi Yonezu will perform guitar in the film. Tōko Miura will take part as a vocalist. Yōko Kuno will produce rotoscope animations based on these performances. This technique, known as a method of animation created by drawing over live-action footage, is expected to give the film a unique visual texture.
Look Back is adapted from Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga of the same name. The manga was published on Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ platform in 2021 and quickly became a major phenomenon.
