Surprise in Liar Game Anime Cast: The Voice Actor for Fukunaga Yuji Has Been Revealed!

One of the first productions that comes to mind when psychological thrillers and mind games are mentioned, Liar Game continues to enthrall its fans with its anime adaptation after years of waiting. The voice actor for Fukunaga Yuji, one of the most eccentric characters who changed the course of the series and is both loved and hated by viewers, has finally been announced. According to the official statement, successful voice actor Daichi Yo will bring this manipulative and colorful character to life.
Daichi Yo actually appeared in the fourth episode of the series as the character Hitomi Miyahara. However, with a big surprise in the fifth episode, it was revealed that this character was actually Fukunaga Yuji in disguise. The artist, whom we know from productions such as Chainsaw Man (Akane Sawatari) and Arknights (Dobermann), is already receiving great praise for her performance, which reflects Fukunaga's cunning and volatile mood. The series' main characters, the pure-hearted Nao Kanzaki, are voiced by Saya Hitomi, and the genius swindler Shinichi Akiyama is voiced by Takeo Otsuka.
Produced by Madhouse studio, one of the giants of the anime world, the adaptation is based on Shinobu Kaitani's cult manga, which was published between 2005 and 2015. Yuzo Sato, who previously directed legendary gambling anime such as Kaiji: The Ultimate Survivor and One Outs, sitting in the director's chair proves that Liar Game's dark and suspenseful atmosphere is in safe hands. Behind the music is Yugo Kanno, the unforgettable composer of series like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Psycho-Pass.
