Love Live! Nijigasaki's Final Act: First Visual Arrives from the Closing Chapter of the Film Trilogy

There is an exciting development for fans of Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. The first key visual has been released for the film that will conclude the series' movie trilogy, titled "Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Doukoukai Kanketsu-hen: Saishuu Shou" (Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Final Chapter: Last Chapter).
According to Japan-based anime news site Natalie, the visual shows a scene where all 12 members of the club are walking forward together, with Yuu Takasaki standing one step behind, watching them from the rear. This composition symbolizes both the group's unity and Yuu's support for them. The film will be the conclusion of a trilogy that began with the first film titled "Final Chapter", which was released in 2024.
The first film was released in Japan last September and focused on the graduation process of Nijigasaki's school idol club. With the release of the new visual, the film is expected to premiere in the coming months. The Love Live! Nijigasaki series began in 2020 as a spin-off of the original Love Live! main series, continuing first with a television series and then with the movie trilogy. The series' creator Hajime Yatate and Sunrise studio will conclude Nijigasaki's story with this film.
For fans, this film holds great importance, especially regarding Yuu Takasaki's role in the story. Because Yuu was the only main character in the television series who led the club's formation but was not a school idol in the traditional sense. How she will fit into the finale is a matter of curiosity. Although the positioning in the visual suggests that Yuu has now become an observer, no official details have been provided yet. New trailers and release date information for the film are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
