Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky Anime Premieres July 6: New Trailer and Music Details Released
The long-awaited date for Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky (known in Japanese as Tōmei na Yoru ni Kakeru Kimi to, Me ni Mienai Koi wo Shita.), which is preparing to stir up emotional storms in the anime world, has finally been announced. With the second promotional video shared by the official team of the series, it has been confirmed that the anime will begin airing in Japan on July 6, 2026. This new trailer not only offers a visual feast but also reveals the names behind the music that will touch the heart of the story.
The musical atmosphere of the series has been entrusted to composer Harumi Fuuki, one of the most respected names in the industry. Known for her enchanting orchestral works in productions such as The Deer King, Tsurune, and The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes, Fuuki is expected to lead the audience into a deep melancholy in this new project as well. Additionally, Yui Sakurai, a popular member of the idol group FRUITS ZIPPER, has joined the project by performing the ending theme song titled "Hikari" (Light). Sakurai's clear voice has already won the appreciation of fans, even in the short clips shared in the trailer.
The original light novel series, written by Nanigashi Shima and illustrated by raemz, achieved great success by winning the Grand Prize at the 15th GA Bunko Awards. The story follows Kakero Mano, an introverted university student, as he meets Koharu Fuyutsuki, who looks at life with hope despite being visually impaired. Koharu's greatest dream, the desire to see (or feel) fireworks, lies at the center of the bond that develops between the two. This poignant story also ranked high on the "This Light Novel is Amazing!" lists in 2024 due to its character depth and the sensitive themes it explores.
Expected to be one of the most ambitious romantic dramas of the summer season, Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky is already aiming for the impact created by classics like A Silent Voice or Your Lie in April with its visual quality and cast of master names.
