Magical Explorer Anime Arrives in October: New Cast Members and Theme Songs by ASCA Revealed
The wait for the Magical Explorer anime is coming to an end. With a new announcement from Kadokawa, it has been confirmed that the TV anime adaptation will air in October 2026. The new promotional video also revealed the additional cast and the name of the person who will handle the series' music. Accordingly, the famous anison artist ASCA will perform both the opening and ending theme songs.
The promotional video focuses on the series' main character Takioto Kousuke and the main heroines around him, as well as important side characters in the game world. For those who don't know, Magical Explorer: Eroge no Yuujin Kyara ni Tensei Shita kedo, Game Chishiki Tsukatte Jiyuu ni Ikiru is a light novel series written by author Iris and illustrated by Hirooka. The series first started as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2019, then began to be published in print under the Kadokawa Books label, and quickly gained a large fan base. The story follows a young man who is reincarnated as Takioto Kousuke, a side character in a popular eroge game, and tries to use his knowledge of the game to become stronger than the main character and change the fate of the heroines who have tragic endings in the original story.
