New Visuals Released for Magical Girl Raising Project restart: Pechika, Pfle, and Shadow Gale Take the Stage!

The wait is finally coming to an end for Magical Girl Raising Project fans! Exciting new visuals have been shared for the series' new anime adaptation, Magical Girl Raising Project restart (Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku restart). This time, our focus is on key characters Pechika, Pfle, and Shadow Gale. Returning to screens in the autumn of 2026, exactly ten years after the first season in 2016, the series is preparing to blend its dark atmosphere and brutal survival game with new characters.
A change of guard is taking place in the animation studio for the new season. Studio Lerche, which produced the first season, is passing the torch to SynergySP, while a familiar name, Hiroyuki Hashimoto, sits in the director's chair once again. Takao Yoshioka, responsible for the series composition, is also returning to the team, signaling that the spirit of the story will remain intact. The character designs feature the signature of Masako Ito. In his statement, director Hashimoto expressed his great happiness in bringing these complex human relationships and dark themes back to the screen.
The characters appearing in the visuals are at the heart of the "restart" arc. While Pechika draws attention with her shy personality and ability to turn anything she touches into a delicious meal, the intelligent and cunning Pfle, who uses a wheelchair, and her loyal assistant (and butler in real life) Shadow Gale will be at the center of the strategic moves that will determine the course of the story. Snow White (voiced by Nao Toyama), whom we know from the first season, will also be part of this new adventure and will play a critical role in the development of events.
