Magilumiere Co. Ltd. Season 2 Starts on July 4: New Cast and Opening Song Announced
The highly anticipated second season of Magilumiere Co. Ltd. (known in Turkey as Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc.) anime has begun its countdown. According to official sources, the new season will start airing on Japanese television on July 4, 2026.
With the release of a 30-second promotional video and press release today, two new voice actors joining the season were also announced. Alongside Fairouz Ai, the voice of Kana Sakuragi, this season Manaka Iwami (Eris from Mushoku Tensei, Fiona from Spy x Family) will voice the character Riko, and Katsuya Fukunishi (Nanami from Jujutsu Kaisen, Ushijima from Haikyuu!!) will portray Kazuomi. These two are expected to bring action-packed and emotional scenes to the season.
The opening song has also been confirmed: a duet by syudou and Yusei Yagi (from the group FANTASTICS) titled “Latte Magic” will be the opening theme for the second season. The energetic nature of the song is said to perfectly match the series' atmosphere of blending an “ordinary workday in the office” concept with magic. As with the first season, the music aims to reflect the spirit of the series.
To remind, Magilumiere Co. Ltd. is a manga adaptation created by Iwata Yukihiro and Aoki Yū. The series, which began in Shonen Jump+ in 2021, presents an unusual universe where magical girls work under a company. The first season aired in autumn 2024 and received great acclaim for its visuals and unique story centered on the workplace.
In the second season, main character Kana Sakuragi is expected to face new dangers and the internal dynamics of the company will deepen. Rumors suggest that the mysterious events left at the end of the first season will be resolved, and new enemies will emerge. The number of episodes for the season has not been announced yet, but it is likely to be 12-13 episodes like the first season.
