Manga Adaptation 'Love and Deceive Angels' to Become Anime in 2027

The anime adaptation of Uzuki Coco's romantic comedy manga 'Love and Deceive Angels' has been announced. According to Japanese anime news site Natalie, the series is expected to air on television in 2027. A celebration illustration accompanying the announcement was also shared by the mangaka herself.
The manga first began serialization in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in 2022. The work, which currently has 4 tankōbon volumes, revolves around an ordinary high school student named Yūta. One day, Yūta meets the mysterious Miyabi, the most popular girl in school. Miyabi is actually not an angel, but a 'false angel' who gathers energy by deceiving people. The comedic and emotional relationship between the two delves into themes of deception, love, and true identity.
Uzuki Coco is known for previous popular series such as 'Kanojo mo Kanojo' and 'Boku no Kanojo ga Majime Sugiru Shojo Bitch na Ken'. The author's success, particularly in the multi-love-interest and twist romantic comedy genre, raises expectations for this new adaptation. The studio, director, or voice cast for the anime have not yet been announced, but more details are expected to be shared at the beginning of 2027.
Fans of the manga expressed their excitement on social media immediately after the announcement. Uzuki Coco's unique sense of humor and character dynamics make this adaptation one of the most anticipated projects of 2027. Official statements from the manga publisher Kodansha are expected in the coming months. There is no information yet about the series being released digitally or in print in Turkey.
