MAPPA Expo 15th Anniversary Exhibition: Chainsaw Man, Attack on Titan and Jujutsu Kaisen Showcases Revealed
MAPPA has announced new showcase details for the MAPPA EXPO 15th Anniversary exhibition it will hold in honor of its 15th anniversary. According to Anime Corner; Chainsaw Man, Attack on Titan, and Jujutsu Kaisen will be among the main sections of the exhibition. The revealed visuals offer fans a special look into the animation process of these three major productions.
Studio MAPPA was founded in 2011 by Masao Maruyama, one of the founders of Madhouse. In a short time, it established a solid place in the industry with productions such as Yuri!!! on Ice, Banana Fish, Dorohedoro, and Kakegurui. Jujutsu Kaisen, which premiered in 2020, made the studio a globally recognized brand; then Attack on Titan: The Final Season, which the studio took on, proved MAPPA's production quality worldwide. Chainsaw Man in 2022 pushed the boundaries of Japanese animation with both its visual language and action choreography.
MAPPA EXPO will bring together significant scenes and the production archive of these three productions.
