A Massive Collaboration from McDonald's and Vandy the Pink: The Oscar-Winning KPop Demon Hunters Collection is Now on Sale!

The worlds of fashion, fast food, and animation have come together for a massive collaboration! McDonald's, world-renowned streetwear designer Vandy the Pink, and Complex Shop have launched an exclusive clothing collection themed after Netflix's record-breaking and Oscar-winning animated film KPop Demon Hunters. Released on April 7, 2026, this limited-edition collection gives fans the chance to show their loyalty to their favorite groups from the film.
At the heart of the collection is the "pick a side" theme, reflecting the eternal rivalry in the movie. Fans can choose between designs featuring the main protagonists, the group HUNTR/X, with their purple and black color palette adorned with traditional Korean motifs, or pieces reflecting the bright blue and pink "idol" aesthetic of their rivals, the Saja Boys. The collection includes many special pieces, ranging from varsity jackets and racing jerseys symbolizing the year 2026 to Vandy the Pink's iconic flower-logo hoodies.
KPop Demon Hunters has become a global phenomenon since its release by Sony Pictures Animation in 2025. Directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, the film tells the story of a K-Pop girl group whose secret identities are demon hunters. Breaking the record for the most-watched film of all time on Netflix with over 500 million views, the production also crowned its success by winning "Best Animated Feature" at the 98th Academy Awards. The film's hit song "Golden" also proved the musical power of the animation by topping the Billboard charts.
This fashion collaboration stands out as part of a comprehensive campaign launched by McDonald's at the end of March. As you may recall, the HUNTR/X and Saja Boys themed special menus, which went on sale in restaurants on March 31, attracted great interest with their rare collectible photocards. Vandy the Pink's designs take this cultural impact to the streets, elevating the fan experience to the next level. Another piece of good news for fans of the series came from Netflix; a sequel to KPop Demon Hunters has been officially confirmed and is expected to meet audiences in 2029.
