Mission: Yozakura Family Returns with Season 2: A New Era Begins for the Spy Family!
Mission: Yozakura Family (Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen), one of the beloved series from Weekly Shonen Jump, met its fans with its second season as of April 12, 2026, after a long wait. The first episode of the new season (the 28th episode in total), prepared by the production studio SILVER LINK., continues the adventures of Taiyo Asano and the Yozakura family right where they left off. The opening episode of the new season focuses on the events that begin when Ai, a former member of the Tanpopo organization, is placed in the Yozakura mansion to be reintegrated into society.
Created by Hitsuji Gondaira and serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine between 2019 and 2025, the manga achieved great success by selling over 3.6 million copies worldwide. The manga series, which concluded with its 29th volume in January 2025, tells the story of Taiyo Asano, an extremely shy high school student who lost his family in a tragic accident.
