Mob Psycho 100 Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary in the Anime World with a Massive Event: Special Illustration from ONE!

It is time to celebrate for fans of Mob Psycho 100, one of the most unique and beloved productions in the anime world! The anime adaptation of the series, which aired its first episode on July 12, 2016, is officially turning 10 this year. To crown this major milestone, it has been announced that a massive anniversary event will be held in Japan on July 12, 2026, coinciding exactly with the date the first episode aired. The announcement was made on May 12, the birthday of the series' main character Shigeo "Mob" Kageyama, bringing double the joy to fans.
As part of the celebrations, the series' original creator ONE (also the author of One-Punch Man) shared a new illustration specially made for the 10th anniversary. In addition, an impressive key visual prepared by the anime series' character designer Yoshimichi Kameda and a special 10th-anniversary logo were unveiled. The production, signed by Studio BONES, captured the hearts of viewers throughout its three seasons not only with its visual quality but also with the deep bond between Mob and his mentor Arataka Reigen.
The event, which will take place at the Fukagawa Mirai Hall in Saitama, will feature the series' main voice cast and the group MOB CHOIR, who performed the anime's iconic opening songs. While tickets for fans wishing to attend the event will be sold via a lottery system, a campaign has also been launched on social media for fans worldwide with the hashtag #MyMobPsycho. Favorite scenes and messages shared through this campaign will be showcased during the anniversary events.
Mob Psycho 100 concluded its anime journey, which began in 2016 following its manga run between 2012 and 2017, with a magnificent finale in its third season in 2022.
