The trailer shows that Rudeus Greyrat will cross paths with the legendary mage Perugius on his new journey.
Chaos Breaker is actually the title of Perugius, a mage who fought Laplace in the series and awaits his return. Rudeus getting involved in the arc bearing this name adds a new dimension to both Hitogami's plans and Orsted's mysterious struggle for protection. This point in the story is especially cited by light novel readers as one of the most beloved periods of the series.
Mushoku Tensei is based on the web novel that Rifujin na Magonote began writing on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō platform in 2012. The light novel series, published with illustrations by Shirotaka, is released by MF Books, and the main story has already been completed. The anime adaptation began under Studio Bind in 2021; the second season, which aired in 2023 and 2024 after the first season, was highly praised.
