New Spin-off Program Coming for Nakamaru Yuichi's Short Anime 'Daisuki! Kikkun'

The short anime “Daisuki! Kikkun”, created by J-pop group KAT-TUN member Nakamaru Yuichi, is coming to screens with a new spin-off program on July 2, 2024. The project, for which Nakamaru handled the original story, character design, and voice acting, is now deepening with a program titled “Kikkun no Choitashi!”
According to Japan-based news site Natalie, the program “Kikkun no Choitashi!” will focus on the production process of the main series. Sharing his own voice acting experiences, the behind-the-scenes of character drawings, and the animation production stages, this program aims to offer fans a unique insight. The first episode will air on July 2.
Nakamaru Yuichi is known not only as an idol but also as a versatile artist stepping into the manga and anime world. Having previously penned the manga “Otoko no Hanamichi”, Nakamaru combines both his creative and performance sides with this project. “Daisuki! Kikkun” is a short-format anime that follows the adventures of a cheerful character who loves the Earth. Each episode is designed to last approximately 3-5 minutes.
