New Nanoha Anime to Screen All Episodes, Ticket Price 100,000 Yen

There is good news for the new anime adaptation of the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series, EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance: all 12 episodes will be shown on the big screen at a special event in July 2025, marking the earliest screening. However, the cost of this privilege is quite high: 100,000 yen (approximately $650) for regular seats, and 105,000 yen for BOX seats featuring special AKRacing gaming chairs.
According to the announcement by Japan's leading anime news site Natalie, the event offers fans the opportunity to see the new season before anyone else. Still, the price tag is unaffordable for many viewers. For comparison, special screenings of major works like Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 in past years sold for between 3,000 and 5,000 yen. The 100,000 yen ticket is about 20 times the price of a regular movie ticket and is positioned as a premium experience.
The Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series began with the original anime aired in 2004. The universe created by Masaki Tsuzuki quickly gained a large fan base and expanded with three main TV seasons, two films, and various spin-offs. The new season EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance is a modern continuation of the series and was highly anticipated among previously announced projects. This 12-episode season will be introduced with a special screening limited to a number of fans, ahead of its official broadcast starting in July 2025.
So why such a high price? The event features AKRacing BOX seats, promising a luxurious viewing experience. Additionally, such 'earliest screening' events in Japan are often done with limited tickets and carry collectible value. Still, the 100,000 yen price is quite challenging for the average anime fan. The loyal followers of the series may be willing to pay this price thanks to Nanoha's enduring popularity. The exact date and venue of the screening have not been announced yet, but details are expected in the coming days. The global launch of the new season will likely take place on digital platforms in the summer.
