New Short Animation Film Released for the 10th Anniversary of Mob Psycho 100

There is a great surprise for Mob Psycho 100 fans! As part of the series' 10th-anniversary celebrations, a brand new original short animation film prepared by studio Bones was released recently. The short film aims to both provide nostalgia for long-time fans and introduce the magical world of the series to new viewers.
The original manga, written by the series creator ONE (who is also the author of One Punch Man), began its publication in 2012 in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine. The production, which first appeared on screens with its anime adaptation in 2016, quickly gained a massive global fanbase. The three-season anime series, bearing the signature of studio Bones, received praise especially for its impressive animation quality and emotional depth.
This newly released short film was prepared specifically to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the series. Although an official streaming platform has not yet been announced, the short film is expected to be available on various digital platforms soon and perhaps even in a special Blu-ray set. In terms of content, while remaining tied to the main story, it offers fun and equally emotional moments focusing on the daily lives of Mob and his friends.
Such anniversary projects are of great importance, especially for series that have reached cult status like Mob Psycho 100. Although questions like "Could a new season or film be coming?" are frequently asked among fans, there has been no official statement from the studio or the publisher yet. Nevertheless, this short film is an indicator of how vibrant and beloved the series still is. More details are expected to emerge in the coming days. Stay tuned!
