New Trailer for Mushoku Tensei III Released: Mika Nakashima to Sing Ending Song

An exciting development has occurred for the third season of Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu, one of the most beloved works of the isekai genre. According to an official announcement, a new promotional video (PV) for Mushoku Tensei III has been released. It was also announced that the ending theme for the season has been revealed.
The ending track is titled “Inori, Owareba” (祈り、終われば – When the Prayer Ends). This song will be performed by one of Japan's most renowned vocalists, Mika Nakashima. The composition is by Shinoda, a member of the alternative rock band Hitorie, who is also the band's vocalist and guitarist. This duo has previously come together for many anime projects; Nakashima's powerful interpretation and Shinoda's melancholic compositions seem to perfectly match the sorrowful and epic atmosphere of Mushoku Tensei.
The newly released PV maintains the visual quality and story depth of the first two seasons. The trailer shows the main character Rudeus Greyrat and the new dangers on his journey, along with familiar faces and characters we have not yet met. The Mushoku Tensei series is based on the light novel written by Rifujin na Magonote, with the first season aired in 2021 and the second season in 2023. Although the release date for the third season has not been announced yet, this new trailer indicates that production is largely complete and a release date announcement may come soon.
This news is quite significant for fans of the series. Because Mushoku Tensei is a work that played a major role in the renewed popularity of the isekai genre, standing out with its character development and world-building. The animation quality produced by Studio Bind has always been praised, especially for its attention to detail in fight scenes and emotional moments. Light novel readers are eagerly waiting to see where Rudeus's story will evolve in the new season. For now, all we have to do is wait for the official announcement of a new release date and perhaps the opening theme song.
