New Voices for the Forgetful Saint: "Mujikaku Seijo" Anime Starts on June 30

The anime adaptation of the beloved light novel series Mujikaku Seijo wa Kyou mo Muishiki ni Chikara wo Tarehitasu (The Forgetful Saint) has finally received an eagerly awaited release date. According to an official announcement, the anime will start airing on June 30 on AT-X, TOKYO MX, BS11, and other channels.
Along with the announcement, a new key visual was also released. The visual features the main characters of the series together, and it was announced that Atsushi Tamaru and Nobuhiko Okamoto have joined the cast. While it is not yet clear which character Tamaru will voice, Okamoto is said to take on an important supporting role in the series.
The series revolves around a young girl who is unaware that she is a saint and inadvertently spreads miracles around her. The light novel, written by Tōri Yamada and illustrated by Mochizuki, has been published under Fujimi Shobo since 2020. The isekai work quickly garnered a fanbase with its humorous and heartfelt storytelling.
The anime is directed by Noriaki Akitaya, with the script entrusted to Deko Akao. The animation studios are a partnership between Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ. The release of new visuals ahead of the broadcast has further piqued fans' curiosity. Especially given the recent rise in interest in saint-themed works, Mujikaku Seijo is expected to be one of the most talked-about shows of the summer season.
No official announcement has been made yet regarding the streaming platforms or international licensing deals for the anime, but the production team is expected to share more details in the coming weeks. The series will premiere its first episode on June 30 and will air weekly.
