OceanVeil Adds Love Hina, Level E, Yuru Yuri, and More to Its Library
The next-generation digital anime platform OceanVeil continues to rapidly expand the content it offers to subscribers. According to a July 23, 2026 announcement, the platform has added seven anime to its library, including Love Hina, Level E, Yuru Yuri, DRAMAtical Murder, Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos, Bombshells from the Sky, and HaNaYaMaTa. This move covers a wide spectrum, from nostalgic rom-coms of the early 2000s to today's popular comedies and psychological thrillers.
Topping the list is Love Hina, a classic from Ken Akamatsu that aired in 2000, remembered by many viewers for its adventures at a rural inn. Another surprise is Level E, a lesser-known but cult-status work by manga artist Yoshihiro Togashi (Hunter x Hunter, Yu Yu Hakusho). Meanwhile, Yuru Yuri promises laughter-filled moments on the platform with its seven seasons of cheerful slice-of-life storytelling, while DRAMAtical Murder targets a different audience with its visual novel adaptation and cyberpunk atmosphere. Also noteworthy are Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos, which draws inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft, and the cherry blossom-themed youth drama HaNaYaMaTa.
This move by OceanVeil is seen as part of its strategy to differentiate itself among the increasingly crowded field of anime subscription services. Although the platform is still new (it launched in beta in 2025), it has quickly expanded its catalog to over 200 anime. According to the company's statement, these new additions include some rare titles that have not previously been available on digital platforms. For example, Bombshells from the Sky (original title Sora no Otoshimono), with its blend of mecha and ecchi genres, has a dedicated fan base worldwide.
This development is a major win for viewers who have had difficulty legally watching older series. Many classic anime were unavailable on streaming platforms due to licensing issues. OceanVeil's effort to fill this gap may prompt rival platforms to review their own catalogs. The new series that OceanVeil will announce in the coming months are already eagerly anticipated.
