One Piece: Grand Gourmet Announced – A Cooking Simulation from Kairosoft

If you have ever dreamed of running a restaurant in the One Piece universe, your dream is coming true. Bandai Namco has announced One Piece: Grand Gourmet, a cooking and restaurant management simulation game developed in collaboration with Kairosoft. The game will be released simultaneously on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam), and smartphones on October 23, 2026.
Kairosoft is known for its addictive simulation games such as Game Dev Story and Dungeon Village. This time, we will prepare the foods loved by Monkey D. Luffy and his crew and serve them to customers. Although details of the game are not yet clear, we can expect Kairosoft's signature pixel art graphics, deep management mechanics, and plenty of humor. Cooking on the ship, discovering rare recipes, and of course drawing inspiration from Sanji's culinary skills will be possible.
This announcement coincides with the 25th anniversary events of One Piece. The series is currently in its Final Saga, and anime and manga fans eagerly welcome every new game. Bandai Namco has previously offered action RPGs like One Piece: Pirate Warriors and One Piece: Odyssey, but this is the series' first serious restaurant management simulation. Additionally, being the first One Piece game to be released on the next-generation console Nintendo Switch 2 is another plus.
The game's price and pre-order details have not yet been announced, but we should note that mobile versions of Kairosoft games are usually paid. Standard pricing is expected for PC and console versions. While the official promotional video is expected to be released soon, it's worth following Bandai Namco's social media accounts to not miss the trailer. Do you think it will be possible to add meat, Luffy's favorite food, to the menu?
