One Piece Heroines Anime's Trailer Released: Opening Song by Aina the End

Great news for One Piece fans: the trailer for the special episode One Piece Heroines, focusing on the female characters of the series, has been released. The trailer also revealed for the first time the opening song "Blue Shining Star" sung by Japanese singer Aina the End. The anime will air on July 5, 2026.
This special episode is a tribute to the female characters of the vast pirate universe created by Eiichiro Oda. The project, expected to focus on the stories of Nami, Robin, Boa Hancock, Vivi, and other strong women, was first announced in summer 2025. Information also indicates that Oda has prepared new designs and an original script specifically for this project.
The trailer shows impressive scenes of the characters accompanied by Aina the End's energetic vocals. The artist previously made songs for productions such as Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen. The song "Blue Shining Star" can be understood from the trailer to have both a fast-paced and emotional melody.
One Piece Heroines goes beyond being just a side story, reinforcing the importance the series has given to female characters in recent years. The special episode, prepared by Toei Animation, will be available on TV broadcast and then on digital platforms. Oda is known to have said in a statement about this project, "Telling the stories of female pirates is a very special experience for me." Fans can expect another trailer in the coming days.
