Otaku Pop Fes 2026 Prepares to Present a Giant Cosplay and Anime Feast at Okada Manila in April

The heart of the anime and cosplay world will beat in the Philippines in the spring of 2026. Otaku Pop Fes 2026 will take place on April 25-26 at Manila's world-renowned 5-star integrated resort, Okada Manila. The event's biggest attraction will be the Cosplay Cup competition, which will bring together talented costume designers and performance artists. This massive organization aims to bring both the local and international otaku community together in a luxurious atmosphere.
The music wing of the festival is just as ambitious as the cosplay competitions. In addition to the rising star of the K-pop world, the group UNIS, legendary voices of the anime world will also be on stage. Hiroshi Kitadani, known for the iconic One Piece opening song "WE ARE," and Eir Aoi, with her powerful vocals, will provide fans with unforgettable moments. The event will span two main areas, Cove Manila and the Grand Ballroom; concerts and cosplay shows will come to life in the dynamic atmosphere of Cove Manila.
Not limited to stage performances, Otaku Pop Fes 2026 will also host a massive exhibition area. Licensed products and special booths for popular series such as Dandadan, Naruto, Blue Lock (Nagi), and Tokyo Revengers will be displayed in the Grand Ballroom area. Additionally, for gaming enthusiasts, special gaming zones will be set up to introduce titles such as Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond and Uma Musume: Pretty Derby. This variety makes the festival not just a fair, but a full-scale experience center.
Behind this event are Cyber E, the event arm of Japanese media giant CyberAgent, and local organizer CBZN Perspective. The fact that it coincides with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and the Philippines further increases the cultural significance of the festival. The organizers state that this festival will take the otaku culture in the Philippines to a more professional level and that bringing directly licensed content from Japan is a great opportunity for the community. Although ticket sales began in January, preparations for the big meeting in April are continuing at full speed.
