Otaku Pop Fes 2026: Eir Aoi and Hiroshi Kitadani Are Coming to Rock the Manila Stage!

Anime fans, mark your calendars! One of the most anticipated pop culture events of 2026, Otaku Pop Fes 2026, is preparing to host a massive musical feast in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. The festival, which will take place on April 25-26, 2026, at the magnificent Cove Manila and Ballroom areas within Okada Manila, will bring together stars from both the J-pop and K-pop worlds.
The biggest surprise of the festival is undoubtedly two giants of the anisong world: Eir Aoi, the unforgettable voice behind series such as Sword Art Online and Fate/Zero, and Hiroshi Kitadani, who performed the legendary One Piece opening song "We Are!". According to the program details, Eir Aoi will take the stage on the first day of the festival, April 25, while Hiroshi Kitadani, who is also a member of JAM Project, will meet his fans on April 26. In addition to these two giants, one of Japan's most famous anisong DJs, DJ Kazu, will keep the energy at its peak throughout both days.
Another notable name at the event is the shining K-pop group of recent times, UNIS. Formed through the Universe Ticket competition and featuring Filipino members such as Elisia and Gehlee Dangca, the group will perform their first major festival headliner performance of their careers. In their statement, the group members expressed their excitement, saying, "Being on this stage is very meaningful for us, and we are preparing very special performances for our fans." UNIS will be on the main stage at 19:00 on both days of the festival.
Not limited to concerts, Otaku Pop Fes 2026 will also host a massive exhibition area. Organized in partnership with CyberAgent's event arm Cyber E and CBZN Perspective, the festival will feature official booths for popular series such as Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Spy x Family, Naruto, and Dan Da Dan. Additionally, promotions for games like Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond and Umamusume: Pretty Derby, as well as a major cosplay cup, await participants.
Ticket prices are arranged to suit every budget. While daily tickets for those who only want to visit the exhibition area are 600 PHP, tickets providing access to the concert area range from 3,500 PHP to 5,500 PHP. The fact that Manila has become a global hub for Japanese pop culture in recent years increases the impact of such giant organizations in the region day by day. If you happen to be in Manila in 2026, we recommend you do not miss this historic gathering!
