Otaku Pop Fes 2026: Giant Anime Booths and Star Names Meet Fans at Okada Manila!

Otaku Pop Fes 2026 is preparing to shake up the anime world in the Philippines' capital, Manila. This inaugural festival, to be held at the magnificent Okada Manila on April 25-26, 2026, promises fans not just an event, but a true Japanese pop culture experience. The organizers have officially unveiled the 11 massive intellectual property (IP) booths that will be the heart of the festival, along with themed photo walls that are set to rock social media.
The most striking aspect of the festival will be the booths hosting licensed Japanese series. In these areas, which will feature giant names such as Spy x Family, Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, Naruto, Dan Da Dan, and The Apothecary Diaries, special gifts will be distributed for each series. For example, you can get a stylish tote bag from the Spy x Family booth or collect special stickers from the Frieren booth. These interactive booths will allow fans to touch their favorite worlds.
For music lovers, the festival will also be a complete feast. The legendary voice of One Piece, Hiroshi Kitadani, the powerful vocalist Eir Aoi, the energetic DJ Kazu, and the global girl group UNIS will take the stage. The event will span two massive venues at Okada Manila, the Ballroom and Cove Manila; while the Ballroom will host exhibitions and IP booths, Cove Manila will be the center for cosplay competitions and concerts.
Organized in collaboration with CyberE, the event arm of Japanese media giant CyberAgent, and CBZN Perspective, this festival marks a historic milestone for the anime community in the Philippines. The arrival of such a large-scale, Japan-based organization in the region for the first time highlights the growing importance of Southeast Asia in the global anime market. The OPF Cosplay Cup, organized for cosplay enthusiasts, will reward talented artists.
Otaku Pop Fes 2026, which is already seeing great interest in ticket sales, will bring together both local and international fans. If you are planning to be in Manila during those dates, we recommend you do not miss this unique atmosphere. The heart of the anime world will beat in the Philippines for two days, and this will go down in history as an unforgettable memory for the community.
