English Voice Cast Announced for Persona 4 Revival Game

A new English voice cast has been announced for the revival version of Atlus's classic JRPG Persona 4. According to Anime News Network, the game is scheduled for release on February 18, and the cast includes Nazeeh Tarsha, Paul Castro Jr., Anne Yatco, Brianna Knickerbocker, and Ari Thrash. Which characters these actors will voice has not yet been revealed, but fans are expecting to hear both new faces and familiar voices from the original game.
Persona 4 first released on PlayStation 2 in 2008, then came to PlayStation Vita in 2012 as Persona 4 Golden. The series' popularity has endured to this day through both the game and anime adaptations (Persona 4: The Animation). The revival version is thought to be a graphically and mechanically updated version of the original. Atlus aims to evoke nostalgia for old fans while introducing the series to new players with this revival.
The original Persona 4 English voice cast included names like Johnny Yong Bosch (Yu Narukami), Yuri Lowenthal (Yosuke Hanamura), and Amanda Winn-Lee (Chie Satonaka). It is a matter of curiosity whether some of these characters' voice actors will change in the new game. It is currently unknown whether the announced new actors will take on supporting roles or main characters. It is speculated that the game's English localization is also being revised along with the new voice cast.
The Persona series achieved great success in recent years with Persona 5, and Atlus wants to maintain that momentum with the Persona 4 revival version. It has not been officially announced which platforms the game will be released on February 18, but it is expected to launch on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Fans are eagerly awaiting new trailers and details from Atlus in the coming weeks. Which names from the old cast do you think will return? Let's meet in the comments!
