Persona 4 Revival Game Introduces Its Characters with New Trailer

Persona 4, one of the cult classics of the Persona series, is reborn! The Persona 4 Revival game announced by Atlus introduces its characters with a new trailer. In the trailer, students of Inaba's famous high school Yasogami High — Yu Narukami, Yosuke Hanamura, Chie Satonaka, and all other main characters — appear with updated visuals. Players experience the excitement of seeing old friends again while also getting hints about the series' iconic 'Social Link' and 'Shadow' combat mechanics.
The original Persona 4 was first released in 2008 for PlayStation 2, then came to PlayStation Vita in 2012 as Persona 4 Golden. Now, Atlus is bringing this modern masterpiece to current-generation consoles. Persona 4 Revival will be released on February 18, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox PC, and PC (Steam). Additionally, the game is expected to offer not only graphical improvements but also new content and an enhanced gameplay experience.
Another detail that stands out in the trailer is that Persona 4 Revival stays true to the original story while being completely renewed in terms of visuals and audio. In particular, character models, lighting, and backgrounds have been redesigned with Unreal Engine 5. For longtime fans of the series, this is nothing short of a dream. The Persona community had been waiting for Persona 4 Golden to come to consoles and PC for years, but this time Atlus is offering a more comprehensive production directly under the 'Revival' label.
Considering that the Persona series has sold over 15 million copies in total, it is certain that Persona 4 Revival will be a major event for both new-generation players and longtime fans. Atlus has also opened the game's Steam page and announced that the pre-order period has begun. Users who pre-order will be able to access an exclusive theme and a digital art book. More details about the upcoming game are expected to be shared in new broadcasts over the coming weeks.
