Two New Voice Actors Announced for Pokémon Horizons: Wonder Voyage Arc

Pokémon Horizons has added two new talented names to its cast for the ongoing "Wonder Voyage" arc in Japan. According to the official announcement, famous voice actors Yū Serizawa and Kazuki Ura will bring new characters who will shape the series' story to life. Serizawa will voice Navi, a mysterious girl from Lumiose City, while Ura will portray Ivor, a character known for his mastery of martial arts.
Kazuki Ura, one of the rising stars of the voice acting world, is particularly known for his performance as Isagi Yoichi in the Blue Lock series. Yū Serizawa has a large fan base for her roles in popular productions such as Kakegurui and How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord. The addition of these two names to the Pokémon universe demonstrates the series' commitment to increasing character depth. In particular, the connection of the Ivor character to the highly anticipated Pokémon Legends: Z-A game has sparked great curiosity among fans.
The "Wonder Voyage" arc, which began on May 22, 2026, stands out as one of the most ambitious chapters of the series in the post-Ash Ketchum era. This arc not only advances the main story but also brings elements inspired by popular spin-off games like Pokémon GO, Pokémon UNITE, and Pokémon Sleep into the anime world. The adventures of Liko, Roy, and Dot reach an even more epic dimension in this new era with the inclusion of legendary Pokémon such as Koraidon and Miraidon.
Directed by Saori Den and animated by the veteran OLM studio, Pokémon Horizons also draws attention with its new opening and ending songs. The song "Sekai Tsunagare", performed by lead actors Minori Suzuki and Yuka Terasaki, reflects the spirit of this new adventure. This new phase of the series continues to invite both old fans and new viewers to the unexplored corners of the Pokémon world.
