New Trailer Released for PSYREN Anime – Premiering in October

PSYREN anime released its eagerly awaited new trailer ahead of its premiere in October. The trailer showcases the series' dark atmosphere and action-packed scenes, while also featuring the voice acting of the main characters for the first time.
Adapted from Toshiaki Iwashiro's manga of the same name, PSYREN was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2007 to 2010 and quickly gained a cult following. The story follows teenagers who are transported to a post-apocalyptic world through a mysterious phone booth, where they discover psychic powers and struggle to survive. Faithful fans of the manga are thrilled to finally get an anime adaptation after years of waiting.
The new trailer stands out for its production quality and character designs. Although the studio has not been officially announced, rumors suggest an experienced team is at the helm. In particular, the animation of the psychic abilities used by the main character Ageha Yoshina drew praise from fans.
