First Major Exhibition Announced for the 10th Anniversary of the Re:Zero Anime Series: Details and New Visual Revealed

As the legendary journey that began in 2016 enters its 10th year, major news has arrived to excite fans. The first official exhibition organized to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World TV anime will be held at the Shibuya BEAM Gallery in Tokyo. A new visual, specially prepared for the event which will welcome visitors between September 12 and October 4, has also been shared, showing Subaru, Emilia, Rem, Ram, and Beatrice together in stylish outfits.

The exhibition will not only offer a visual feast but will also bring to light hidden details about the series' production. Previously unpublished draft drawings, storyboards, and concept designs will be presented to fans. Additionally, thanks to interactive areas that will bring iconic scenes from the series to life, video installations, and special photo spots, visitors will feel like a part of the Kingdom of Lugnica. The series creator, Tappei Nagatsuki, emphasized that this exhibition will be an experience that makes one feel the 10-year adventure of the anime in the most intense way.

Re:Zero, written by Tappei Nagatsuki and brought to life with illustrations by Shin'ichirō Ōtsuka, began as a web novel in 2012. Becoming a global phenomenon with its adaptation into an anime by the White Fox studio in 2016, the series is considered one of the most important representatives of the isekai genre today, with over 13 million copies sold. Subaru Natsuki's psychological and physical struggle with his "Return by Death" ability stands out as the biggest feature that distinguishes the series from its peers.

This major exhibition is one of the most notable parts of the "10 Major Projects" campaign launched in honor of the anime's 10th anniversary.
