Re:ZERO Season 4 Takes Spring 2026 Charts by Storm: At the Top for the Second Consecutive Time!

Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- (Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu) fans' wait is over, and Subaru's new adventure has begun with a true show of force. According to the Spring 2026 season data shared by Anime Corner, the series' 4th season has maintained its place at the top of the list for the second week. Managing to capture over 10% of the total votes, the production has become the most talked-about title of the season, leaving strong rivals like Witch Hat Atelier and Classroom of the Elite behind.
Premiering on April 8, 2026, the 4th season brings one of the most anticipated parts of the story, the "Memory Corridor" (Arc 6) period, to the screen. This season is planned to consist of a total of 19 episodes and is divided into two parts: the 11-episode "The Loss Arc" is currently airing, while the 8-episode "The Recapture Arc" will begin on August 12, 2026. Subaru Natsuki and Emilia's grueling trials at the Pleiades Watchtower have received full marks from viewers, with the first episodes reaching record IMDb scores of 9.6.
On the production side, White Fox studio continues its journey with Masahiro Shinohara in the director's chair, just as in the 3rd season. The fact that the series creator Tappei Nagatsuki is personally involved in script supervision eliminates concerns regarding the story's faithfulness. Furthermore, the season's opening theme, "Recollect," which brings together Konomi Suzuki and Ashnikko, has achieved massive viral success on social media, carrying the series' popularity beyond the anime world.
This success of Re:ZERO proves once again how unshakable a place the series has held in the isekai genre since its debut in 2016. Fans are particularly praising the increase in animation quality and the psychological depth of the characters. While the story is expected to get even darker in the coming weeks, the new episodes where Subaru will push the limits of his "Return by Death" ability are already awaited with great excitement. If this momentum continues, there is no doubt that the 4th season will be the strongest candidate for the Anime of the Year awards.
