Exciting News for the Saijo no Osewa Anime: New Voice Actors and Visual Announced!

Hello anime fans! Today we have fresh news that will surely excite fans of romantic comedy and slice-of-life genres. The official website for the highly anticipated Saijo no Osewa (Rich Girl Caretaker) anime has announced two new characters that will expand the world of the series, along with the voice actors who will bring them to life. Additionally, a brand new key visual reflecting the atmosphere of the series has been unveiled for fans to enjoy.
According to the official announcement, beloved industry figure Saori Onishi will voice the character Mirei Tennōji. We know Onishi from her roles as Eriri in Saekano or Ais Wallenstein in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?. Joining her is the talented voice actor Rio Tsuchiya, who will bring the character Narika Miyakojima to life. These two new characters will take on the roles of "different types of young ladies" in the story, bringing a fresh breath of air to the dynamic between our main characters.
Saijo no Osewa actually has a very interesting and sweet premise. The story revolves around Itsuki Tomonari (voiced by Yūto Uemura), who takes care of Hinako Konohana (voiced by Konomi Kohara), a girl from a poor family who, after a kidnapping incident, turns out to be the daughter of one of Japan's wealthiest families. Although Hinako appears to be a perfect and unreachable "noble flower" at school, she is actually quite lazy and has zero daily life skills. Itsuki secretly taking care of her both at school and at home causes a romantic bond to sprout between them that goes beyond a master-servant relationship.
The technical staff behind the anime is also quite ambitious. The production, prepared by the Brain's Base (Natsume's Book of Friends, Durarara!!) studio, is directed by Shūsei Morishita. The series is based on the popular light novel series written by Yusaku Sakaishi and illustrated by Sakura Miwabe. Running since 2021, this series quickly gained popularity among fans of the genre, especially with its "clumsy but cute rich girl" theme. The anime, which will begin airing in July 2026, already looks like a candidate to be one of the most ambitious romantic comedies of the summer season.
