New Voice for "Saijo no Sewa" Anime: Maeshima Ami as Asahi Karen, Also to Perform Ending Song

An exciting new development has been announced for the anime "Saijo no Sewa" (full title: "Saijo no Sewa: Takanebana Darake na Meikou-kō de, Gakuin Ichi no Ojō-sama (Seikatsu Nōryōku Mu) o Kakure Nagara Osewa ni Narimashita"). According to Natalie, voice actress and singer Maeshima Ami will bring life to the character Asahi Karen in the series. Moreover, Maeshima will also perform the series' ending theme and write the lyrics herself.
This announcement means a new name has been added to the previously revealed main cast. Maeshima Ami is an experienced talent, particularly known for her role as Ren Hazuki in the "Love Live! Superstar!!" series. Now, as Asahi Karen, she will portray a cute and equally helpful high school student. The anime also features prominent names such as Hina Tachibana (as Kazama Shion), Fairouz Ai (as Matsumoto Midori), and Shion Wakayama (as Katsuragi Fūka) voicing the main characters.
"Saijo no Sewa" is based on a light novel series originally written by Mikazuki Azuki and illustrated by Yūrei. The series revolves around a princess who is the most talented student at an elite girls' school but has zero daily living skills. The story's main protagonist is an ordinary student who must secretly support this special girl. This blend of comedy, romance, and everyday life has garnered considerable interest among light novel fans. The anime adaptation is scheduled for release in 2025.
This news came as a big surprise, especially for Maeshima Ami fans and followers of the light novel series. The fact that she will both perform and write the lyrics for the ending theme shows her dedication to the project. It's also a not-to-be-missed detail for viewers interested in anime music. With the first visuals and trailer expected in the coming months, we can say that the "Saijo no Sewa" anime could be one of the most notable productions of 2025.
